AlShurbaji Press Establishment

AlShurbaji Press Establishment was initiated by Sheik Mhd Kher AlShurbaji in Syria, Damascus

back in 1929. Started in an inveterate area of Almarja (Martyrs' Square) in Damascus, AlShurbaji Press Establishment was a small bookbindery concerned with printing and binding the Holy Quran; and an authorized main distribution center known as (AlShurbaji bookbindery and bookstore).

By God's grace and success, few years passed, and the production of our establishment was developed to include printing diaries and reminders impressed by our name (AlShurbaji reminder), then our first calendar was issued in 1946 to change the name of establishment into (AlShurbaji Press and bookstore). In addition, at that time, new copy models of the Holy Quran was added, with or without explanation, and of multi volume versions. By 1962, the Establishment started to export its copies of the Holy Quran to Arab Countries such as (The Country of The Two Venerable Sanctuaries, Iraq, Countries of Arab Gulf, Jordan and countries of Arab Maghreb).

In 1975, by God's grace generosity, the area of our establishment was expanded, and new productions was added; in which the correctness, accuracy and glamour was distinguished.

In 1996, the main distribution center was transferred to Damascus, Alhalboni; and the establishment was registered in the Press Register to be known as (AlShurbaji Press). Then, in 2000, the establishment printery location was transferred to Damascus Country.

In 2006, AlShurbaji Press became the exclusive contractor to publish the productions of (Holy Homes Establishment) in Beirut, which is specialized in the sciences and subjects of the Holy Quran.

In 2010, a main distribution center was opened in Lebanon, Beirut to export copies of the Holy Quran to the Arab and Islamic Worlds.

Through the years, our working tools were developed; the Press had become able to produce copies of the Holy Quran in colored bonds, copies with explanation, and copies of multi-readings.

By God's grace and generosity, new varieties of annual reminders were produced, of several volumes, colors and designs to suit all tastes and requirements.

Until today, by God's grace and success, AlShurbaji Press Establishment keeps developing, and works on finding creative ways to serve The Greatest Book, the Book of Allah (The Great and Almighty).
